    Hot Potatoe Salad with Franks

    List of Ingredients




    6 to 8 slices of bacon, chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 T. flour
    1 T. sugar
    1 1/2 t. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    3 T. salad dressing
    4 c. cooked potatoes, sliced or diced
    1 lb. franks, halved crosswise
    2 hard boiled eggs, sliced
    1 T. parsley, minced
    1/2 t. celery salt

    Recipe



    Cool bacon till crisp. Add onion, cook till tender, but not brown. Blend in next 4 ingredients. Add vinegar and water; cook and stir till thick. Remove from heat. Stir in salad dressing. Sprinkle potatoes in 3/4 t. salt, pour dressing over, toss lightly. Stand franks upright around dish. Fill center with salad. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes or till hot through.
