List of Ingredients
7 lbs cucumbers
2 c. lime
2 gal. water
2 qt. vinegar
2 t. mixed spices
2 t. celery seed
8 c. sugar
3 T. salt
Recipe
Cut cucumbers in 1/4 inch slices. Soak limes in 2 gal. water for 24 hours. Stir several times
Drain. Wash. Soak in cold water 3 hrs.
Drain, then mix without heat: vinegar, spices, celery seeds, sugar, and salt. Pour over cucumbers. Let stand over night.
Heat and let simmer 35 minutes. Seal in jars.
