Mexican Cornbread

List of Ingredients
1 c, cornmeal
◦1 c. flour
◦1 tbsp. baking powder
◦1 tsp. salt
◦2 tbsp. sugar
◦1 c. buttermilk
◦1 egg beaten
◦1 can cream corn
◦Dash hot sauce
◦1/4 c. bacon fat
◦1/4 c. minced green onions with tops
◦1/2 c. shredded cheddar
Recipe
Combine 1st five things in a bow. Set aside.
2.In another bowl combine buttermilk and egg. Add corn and remaining things. Pour over dry ingredients and stir.
3.Do not overmix. Pour batter in greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 400 degrees 35 min. Cool 5 min.
