    2 cups heavy cream
    4 egg yolks
    2-1/2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
    1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    3 Tablespoons Kahlua
    1/4 cup sifted light brown sugar

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Heat cream in double boiler. in a mixer, beat egg yolks, gradually adding sugar. After removing cream from heat, pour into egg mixture slowly, stirring constantly. Add vanilla extract and Kahlua. Pour into 3-1/2 inch ramekins and place the ramekins into a pan of warm water. Bake uncovered for 50 minutes. When custard is set, remove from oven, sprinkle with brown sugar and place under broiler for about two minutes or use torch until sugar is caramelized. Chill for a minimum of four hours and serve.

    Yield: Approximately 6 servings
