Recipe Introduction
Mosca's is a hole in the wall restaurant in Louisiana. People wait hours for these shrimp!! Have plenty of napkins handy.
List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs whole fresh shrimp , Head on ,15-20 count
- 8 buds garlic crushed or sliced
- 2 whole bay leaves
- 2 tsp crushed whole black pepper (or more)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 ozs. white wine
Instructions
- Heat oil in fry pan and add shrimp and spices, saute for 15 minutes or until shrimp just turn pink.
- Add wine and simmer for 10 minutes more.
- Shrimp are peeled at table and served with hot crisp bread for dunking into that wonderful sauce.
