List of Ingredients
2 1/2 lbs round steak cut into cubes
2 Tablespoons oil
3 cups chopped onion
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Paprika (Hungarian if available)
1 1 /2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 teaspoon dill seed
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup sour cream (low fat is okay)
Recipe
Brown meat and onion in hot oil until onions turn light brown. Then add other ingredients, but sour cream. Sir well, cover, cook slowly for 2 to 2 1/2hours. Just before serving stir in sour cream, heat through. Serve over
hot rice or buttered noodles. Red cabbage goes well with it.
