Recipe Introduction


I found this is a cookbook and plan to put this saying onto a magnet to give out to my TOPS pals. I thought it was so fitting.
'Twas the night before weigh-in,
I was dying to eat
As I stood in my kitchen
My tongue ready to cheat.
But I thought of that meeting
When I'd have to get weighed,
So instead of a sandwich
I just stood there and prayed.
And the Lord heard my plea
And He turned me around
And I left that old kitchen
With a leap and a bound.
I jumped into my bed
And turned off the light
Then thanked the good Lord
For His help that night.
And throughout the next days
As I passed up the candy
All of that high-calorie
Stuff that was handy.
I prayed without ceasing
And the day seemed much brighter
'Cause that night when I weighed in
I was at least 3 pounds lighter!!!!
