Once there was a little girl
Who wanted to be a cook.
The problem was, she couldn't read
A word, much less a book!
She's only four years old, you see
But her goal was then quite set;
She'd bake a pie, her very first.
The best in the land, I'd bet!
She'd watched her Mom whip up a pie
She'd tasted quite a few
So Sally (that's our little girl)
Thought she knew just what to do.
She used natural ground ingredients
She removed the stones--no lies!
She oven-baked it in the sun
Then served her friends mud pies!
