Brownie Pudding

1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/8 c. sugar
3 T. cocoa
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 T. melted shortening
1 c. nuts
1 1/8 c. brown sugar
3/8 c. cocoa
2 1/3 c. hot water

Recipe



Sift dry ingredients together; add milk, vanilla, shortening; mix until smooth; add nuts. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix brown sugar and cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
