Recipe Introduction
Lemon juice and rind can be substituted for orange in this dessert for an equally delisious pudding.
List of Ingredients
1/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
1/2 cup orange juice
2 eggs, seperated
3/4 cup milkRecipe
Sift flour, sugar and salt together. Stir in orange rind and juice, egg yolks and milk. Blend well.
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Pour orange mixture over egg whites and fold gently to blend.
Pour into a greased 1 quart baking dish. Set in a pan of hot water. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted into the cake comes out clean.
