Recipe Introduction


AWE I remember this growing up as a kid, it was such a treat.


List of Ingredients




2 cup brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter (no substitute)
5 tbsp. corn syrup
1 can eagle brand milk
vanilla


Recipe



Place all ingredients in a heavy pot (except vanilla). Stir to blend. Place over hight heat till it boils, then reduce heat to medium. This must be stirred continuously during cooking as it burns very easily. Cook to hard ball stage. Add vanilla and quickly pour into 2 buttered 9 inch pans. Cool till firm, then turn out of pans. Tap with a knife handle to break into pieces.
