Soda Crackers (saltines)
1 cup brown sugar
12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butter (no substitutions)
1 cup chopped nuts

Recipe




Line a jelly roll pan with foil, butter foil well, place a single layer of saltines in pan. In saucepan combine sugar and butter, simmer boil for about two minutes, stirring constantly. Gently pour over the crackers (trying to keep them in single layer) Bake at 350* for 5 minutes, sprinkle over chocolate chips and return to oven for about 1 minutes, remove from oven and spread chocolate. Sprinkle with the nuts (pushing them down a little into the chocolate) Chill until hard and break into pieces.
