    Fruit Marshmellow Salad

    List of Ingredients

    18 oz. can crushed pineapple
    2/3 c. uncooked rice
    2/3 c. water
    1/2 c. salt
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 c. colored marshmellows (mini ones)
    1 ripe banana
    1 c. whipped cream
    1 tbsp. chopped marashino cherries

    Recipe

    Drain can of pineapple and save juice. Combine rice, water and pineapple juice and salt. Stir to moisten. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add pineapple and lemon juice. Cool. Stir in marshmellows and bananas. Whip cream until stiff. Fold whipped cream into rice mixture. Chill thouroughly.
