    This has a chocolate dough with a cherry filling!

    List of Ingredients





    Dough
    1/3 cup sugar
    2 Tbs. baking cocoa
    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 cup flour cherry or raspberry pastry filling*


    Recipe



    Cream the sugar with the butter and cream cheese. Blend in the flour,cocoa, salt and vanilla. Add a little extra flour if dough is too sticky. Divide dough in half. Shape and wrap each into a disc. Chill for 2 hours or overnight. Roll one at a time, gently on a floured pastry cloth into a 10” circle. Spread on 1/2 the pastry filling. Cut so that you have about 16 wedges per circle.Roll up from wide end to point. Place point tip down on lightly greased or parchment covered baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 350F. for 18 - 20 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.*Pastry filling is thicker than jam and runs out less.
