Robin Hood Baking Festival Cookbook
Recipe Introduction
Try different seeds for a new look and taste. Try with half black sesame seeds or flaxseeds and half white sesame seeds.
List of Ingredients
2/3 cup robin hood all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup butter or margerine, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups sesame seeds, toastedRecipe
Preheat oven temperature to 350 degrees. Cookie shet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased aluminum foil. Combine flour and baking powder. Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture. Mix until combined. Stir in seeds. Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 6-9 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes on sheet, then transfer to rack to cool completely.
