3 cups cake flour sifted
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups butter (room temperature)
5 eggs
2 tbsp. lemon extract
3/4 cup 7-up ( NO SUBSTITUTE)
Recipe
Combine butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 2 minutes after each addition. Add flour and 7-up (alternately with each egg as they are added). Add lemon extract. Bake in a tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees, depending on your oven.
