Good looking cookies for a Christmas Tray
List of Ingredients
1 c. margerine, softened
1 instant chocholate pudding mix (4 serving size)
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. cherry jam or marachino cherries
1/2 c. semi sweet chocholate
3 tbsp. margerine
Recipe
Cream margerine and pudding powder together. Beat in egg. Mix in flour. Shape into small balls. Roll balls in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Make a dent in each one with thub. Bake in 325 oven for 5 minutes. remove and dent with thumb. Continue to bake for 10-15 minutes. Fill dents with jam or cherry. Melt chocholate and margerine over low heat. stir glaze tops of cool cookies. Makes about 4 dozen.
