    3 tbsp. butter or hard margerine
    3 tbsp. all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt

    1 1/2 cups water

    3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. rum flavoring

    Recipe



    Melt margerine in saucepan. Mix in flour and salt. Stir in water until it boils and thickens. Add sugar and flavoring. Stir to dissolve sugar. Makes about 2 cups (500 ml) sauce.
