Quick and Easy, another great pudding cake


List of Ingredients




1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. melted shortening


Sauce:

3 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. hot water


Recipe



Cake Portion:

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar adn cocoa together. Add Nuts. Blend together. Make a well in the center. Add milk, vanilla and shortening and stir lightly. Turn into large, well greased casserole dish.


Pudding Sauce:

Dissolve ingredients and pour over batter in dish. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Batter will rise up to the top, through the rich chocholate sauce.
