3/4 Cup Butter or marg. (1 1/2) sticks
1 1/2 Cups flour
1 Cup finely chopped walnuts, divided
1 8 ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 Cup powdered sugaar
1 8 ounce container non-dairy whipped topping, (such as Cool-Whip), divided,
(3 1/2 cups)
2 4 serving pkgs. INSTANT lemon pudding mix
3 Cups milk
Recipe
Preheat oven 325 degrees. In smll bowl, combine butter, flour & 2/3 cup walnuts. Press into a 9 x l3 inch baking pan & bake for 30 min. Cool.
In medium bowl, combine cream cheese, powd. sugar & 1 cup whipped toping. Spread on cooled crust.
In large mixing bowl, stir together lemon pudding & milk. Mix well & let stand until thickened (watch it - it thickens fast). Spread over cream cheese layer. Top with remaining 2 1/2 cups whipped topping (or use more) Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 Cup walnuts. Chill. Keep any leftovers in refrigerator.
