    This recipe is very good.

    List of Ingredients




    Crust:
    1-1/2 cups cornflake crumbs (save a few for the top)
    2 tbsp. sugar
    1/4 cup butter, melted

    Mix together and press into 13x9 greased pan.

    Filling:
    4 cups saskatoon berries
    2-1/4 cups water
    7-8 tbsp. (level) cornstarch
    1 cup sugar

    Topping:
    2 envelopes instant whipped topping, or
    4 cups whipped cream, or
    frozen whipped cream
    1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese

    Recipe



    Filling: Boil saskatoon berries, water and sugar together for a few minutes. Thicken with cornstarch (blended with some of the water). Add more cornstarch if necessary. Let cool.

    Topping: Whip cream cheese until smooth. Add whipped cream (whipped topping mixed acording to pkg. directions). Mix until well blended. Spread saskatoon mixture on top of crumb crust. Spread with cream cheese/whipped cream mixture. Make a day ahead so it can set.
