1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of ginger
5 T. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
5 T. vegetable oil
3 1/3-4 c. flour

Recipe



Beat the eggs; add sugar, salt, soda, ginger, cocoa, vanilla and shortening. Add the milk and flour alternately. Knead on a floured board. Cut and fry.
