Using a pants hanger, hang your recipe from the handle of an overhead cabinet. Although this doesn't work with large hard bound cookbooks, it does work great with paperback cookbooks, recipe cards, and computer generated recipes. This keeps them off the counter, out of the way, and at eye level.
