1 1/4 cup corn syrup
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. food coloring, optionalRecipe
In small pan over medium heat, bring syrup to a boil. In small mixing bowl, beat egg whites to stiff but moist peaks. Gradually beat in hot syrup. Continue, beating until very stiff and shiny, about 5 minutes. Beating vanilla and coloring. Spread immedietley on cooled cake.
