Chicken Breasts in Sourcream

4 tbsp butter -- melted
6 lg chicken breast halves without skin
1/2 cup celery -- chopped
1/2 bell pepper -- chopped
1 can sliced mushrooms -- (4 ounce) undrained
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup onion -- chopped
1/4 tsp pepper
Recipe
Sauté chicken in butter until lightly browned. Arrange chicken in a lightly greased casserole dish. Set aside.
Sauté onion, celery, and bell pepper in chicken drippings until tender.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Combine the vegetables, mushrooms, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Spoon mixture over chicken.
Cover and bake at 350°F-180°C for 45 to 55 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
