A black forest muffin...mmmm!


List of Ingredients




2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted (2 squares)
1/3 cup oil
1 egg
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries

Recipe



Combine melted chocolate an oil. Cool, then add egg, buttermilk, sourcream, brown sugar, cherry juice and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Pour liquid ingredients into dry mixure, stirring just to moisten. Fold in chocolate chips and cherries. Spoon batter into greased muffin tins and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 12 large muffins.
