I found this recipe in a Community Cookbook, and made revisions to it to suite our taste. Easily freezes.
List of Ingredients
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 lb. sliced pepperoni
10 cooked lasagne noodles
Italian spice
oregano
1/4 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 chopped onion, medium
1/2 chopped green pepper,optional
2 sticks celery, chopped
1 tin tomato paste
1 c. pasta sauce
2 c. cottage cheese
2 tsp. parsley flakes
1 egg
4 tbsp. parmasan cheese
grated mozzarella cheese
Recipe
Brown hamburger. Add italian spice, oregano, onion, green pepper, celery, garlic, salt and pepper, tomato paste, and pasta sauce.
In small bowl, combine, cottage cheese, parsley, egg and parmasan cheese. Mix well.
Layer bottom of lasagne dish with 3 cooked noodles, top with hamburger mix. Place 3 more noodles on top. Cover with cottage cheese mixture. Place 3 more noodles on top and cover with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
Note* After baking let stand 1/2 hour before cutting. It comes out in one peice.
Also tastes better if made the day before.
