    8 monicotti pasta
    2 c. cottage cheese
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. parmasan cheese
    1 tbsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tbsp. minced onion
    2 tbsp. oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2-71/2 oz tomato sauce
    2 tbsp. grated parmasan

    Cook manicotti as directed. Drain. Rinse. In meium sized bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs and parmasan cheese. Stir together well. Add parsley, salt and pepper and onion. Stir well. Using teaspoon, stuff manicotti. Set aside. Heat oil in frying pan. Add beef, onions, garlic, salt. Scramble fry until brown. Remove from heat. Stir in tomato sauce. Pour 1/2 of meat into 9x12 inch pan. Arrange manicotti overtop. Spoon second half of meat sauce overtop manicotti. Sprinkle with parmasan. Bake uncovered in 350 degree for 45 minutes. Serves 4, two shells each.
