    Spaghetti Crust:
    8 oz. vermacelli or spaghetti
    2 1/2 quarts boiling water
    1 tbsp. cooking oil-optional
    2 tsp. salt

    1 large egg, fork-beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    salt, sprinkle
    pepper, sprinkle

    Topping:
    2 tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
    2 tbsp. grated parmasan cheese
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/16 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 egg, fork-beaten

    6 oz. lean ground beef

    1/2 c. marinara pizza sauce
    1 1/2 c. grated part skim mozzarella cheese

    Recipe



    Spaghetti Crust: Cook spaghetti in boiling water, cooking oil and salt in large saucepan for 11 - 13 minutes until tender but firm. Drain. Return spaghetti to saucepan.

    Add egg and milk. Stir. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix well. Press in greased 12 inch pizza pan. Cover to keep moist while preparing meatballs.

    Topping: Combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Stir together well.

    Add ground beef. Mix. Divide in half. Roll each half into thin log. Cu each into 16 pieces. Shape each piece into tiny ball. Arrange on greased baking sheet with sides. Bake on center rack in 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Cut each meatball in half.

    Spread sauce over crust. Place meatball halves over sauce, cut side down.
