    Grasshopper Pie

    List of Ingredients

    Chocholate Cookie Crust:

    1/3 c. margerine
    1 1/4 c. chocholate wafer crumbs

    Filling:

    1/2 c. milk
    24 large marshmellows
    1/4 c. cream de menthe (green)
    2 tbsp. (clear) creme de cocoa
    1 c. whipped cream or one envelope

    Recipe

    Cookie Crust: Melt margerine in saucepan. Stir in chocholate cookie crumbs. Reserve 2 tbsp. for garnish. Press remaining ingredients (crumbs) onto the bottom and sides of 9 " pie plate. Chill.

    Filling: Heat milk in large saucepan. Add marshmellows and stir until melted. Cool. Stir in creme de menthe and creme de cocoa. Beat cream until stiff, in small bowl, fold in marshmellows. Mix. Turn into pie shell. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp. of crumbs.

    * Note: If you prefer, omit liqueurs and add a few drops of peppermint flavor along with a bit of green food coloring and add extra milk in place of chocholate liqueur.
