    Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. pork ribs, cut in 2 inch slices
    2 tbsp. fat
    1/4 cup water
    2 tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/2-1/3 cups vinegar
    1 cup pineapple juice
    1 tbsp. soy sauce
    3/4 cup green pepper strips
    1/4 cup thinly sliced onion
    1 can pineapple chunks

    Recipe

    Brown pork ribs in hot fat. Add water. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Combine cornstarch, salt, brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and soy sauce. Mx. Cook till slightly thick, stirring constantly. Pour sauce over hot pork ribs. Let stand at least 10 minutes. Add green pepper, onion and pineapple chunks. Cook 2-3 minutes. Serve with hot rice.
