From Scratch Ranch Dressing

Cowboys were never known for their love of fresh greens. Some clever cookie invented this sensational dressing made with creamy dressing and lots of seasonings.
List of Ingredients
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup minced celery with leaves
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
a big bowlful of crisp salad greens
Recipe
Combine the salad dressing ingredients. Pour over the greens just at serving time.
