    Recipe Introduction

Tender biscuits hold bacon, lettuce, tomato and chicken breasts in this grand twist on a traditional club sandwich.

    List of Ingredients

    1 (10.2-oz.) can (5 biscuits) Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers Refrigerated Original Biscuits
    10 slices bacon
    1/3 cup mayonnaise
    1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
    10 thin slices tomato
2 (6-oz.) pkg. sliced chicken breast

    Recipe

    1. Heat oven to 375°F. Separate dough into 5 biscuits. Split each into 2 rounds. Press or roll each round to form 4-inch round; place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375°F. for 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown.
    2. Meanwhile, cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
    3. To serve, spread bottom of each baked biscuit round evenly with mayonnaise. Top 5 biscuit rounds, mayonnaise side up, with lettuce, tomato, chicken and cooked bacon. Top each with biscuit round, mayonnaise side down. Cut each sandwich into quarters. If desired, insert toothpick into each quarter.

    Tips:
Iceberg lettuce is the green most traditionally used in a club sandwich, but it's fun to try the sandwich with other salad leaves, too. Some possibilities are crisp romaine, tender green-leaf or Bibb, crunchy endive or the pleasantly bitter radicchio. Cook the bacon in the microwave or purchase cooked bacon to save a few minutes in the kitchen.
