80g of butter chopped and soft with 2/3 cups of icing sugar, beaten until creamy
2 egg whites beaten until firm peaks
2 tablespoons of caster sugar added to egg whites until shiny and disolved Recipe
Fold egg white mixture into butter and icing sugar mixture. Then add 3/4 cups of plain flour, mix just until blended and put into a piping bag. Pipe out 2 1/2" long x 1/2" wide tubes and cook for ten minutes on 180°C. They sort of flattened and looked like cats' tongues. Finally dust with icing sugar.
