Yummy for Christmas snacks
List of Ingredients
4 c. shreddies, plain
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. each margerin, and corn syrop
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Recipe
Mix cerial, nuts, cinnamon, in large mixing bowl, set aside.
Mix brown sugar, butter and syrop, in medium saucepan. Brink to boil, stirring constantly.
Without stirring, boil 2 minutes. Stir in baking soda. Pour over cereal mix. Stir until pieces are coated. Spread evenly on lightly greased baking sheet. bake at 250 degrees for 30-35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Store in an airtight container, makes 6 cups.
NOTE: It is important not to stir during hte 2 minutes or the mixture will form crystals.
