    1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp. butter
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 1/2 cups flour

    Cream ingredients together. Press into pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 tbsp. syrup
    1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
    4 oz. semisweet chocolate, melted

    Recipe



    Mix first 4 ingredients together. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Keep stirring. Reduce heat to keep from scorching. Remove from stove. Beat a bit, then pour onto shortbread crust. Sprinkle nuts on top When cool pour melted chocolate over. Yield: 1-8 or 1-9x13 if doubled.
