I cut the sugar in this recipe and also have made it with splenda.
List of Ingredients
Apples (crabs or other)
1/2 cup margerine
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
cinnamon or nutmeg
1/8cup waterRecipe
Peel, cut and core apples to desired thickness. Put into casserole dish. Add the water and sprinkle with the sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Combine remaining ingredients, packing over the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
*I usually cut down on the sugars, depending on what type of apple I use.
