    this is easy to prepare and very yummers.

    List of Ingredients




    Cake:
    1 cup flour
    2 tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup white sugar
    3 tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, optional
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tbsp. shortening, melted

    Pudding Sauce:
    3 tbsp. cocoa
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1 3/4 cup hot water

    Recipe



    Cake: Sift first five ingredients together and add nuts. Blend. Make a well in the centre, and add milk, vanilla and shortening. Stir lightly. Turn into a large, well greased casserole dish.

    Pudding Sauce: Dissolve ingredients and pour overtop of batter in dish. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Batter will rise and chocolate sauce will be underneath.

    *I have added chocolate chips to batter in place of the nuts.
