    A tasty cake that I thought was different to try.

    List of Ingredients




    Apple Pudding Cake

    2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 medium apples, chopped (4 cups)
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
    Whipped cream or ice cream, if desired
    Additional chopped apples, if desired

    Grease a 13"x9" baking pan. Beat sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Stir in 4 cups apples and the nuts. Spread batter in pan. Bake @ 350 deg. for 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm with whipped cream and additional apples if
    desired. Note: Spoon warmed caramel topping over this dessert for an extra rich treat
