Cheese Ball or Cracker Spread
1 package (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
1 package (8-ounce) Braunsweiger (goose liver)
3 hard-boiled eggs
1 small onion, grated
1 tablespoon melted margarine or butter
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon celery seed
5 slices bacon, crisp cooked and crumbled
Parsley flakes or paprika
Mix cream cheese, eggs, and Braunsweiger with a fork. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Form into a ball or log, or in a covered container. Roll the ball or logs in chopped parsley or paprika. Cover and refrigerate.
