    No-Bake Butterscotch Cookies

    2 cups sugar
    3/4 cup margarine
    2/3 cup evaporated milk
    1 (3-oz.) package instant butterscotch pudding mix
    3-1/2 cups quick oatmeal

    Mix sugar, margarine, and milk, and bring to a rolling boil. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and add pudding mix and oats. Mix well. Let cool 3 minutes, then drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Let set until firm.

    Makes about 5 dozen
