Watermelon Sorbet with Variations
4 cups watermelon meat, pureed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
Combine ingredients; pour into ice tray and freeze until slushy and soft.
Strawberry Sorbet:
2 quarts ripe strawberries, pureed and strained thru cheesecloth
1/2 cup sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
Combine ingredients; pour into ice tray and freeze until slushy and soft.
Cantaloupe Sorbet:
1 medium cantaloupe, pureed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar or honey
Combine ingredients; pour into ice tray and freeze until slushy and soft.
