Strawberry-Pineapple Jam

List of Ingredients
3-1/3 cups prepared fruit* (1-3/4 lb.)
6-1/2 cups sugar (2-3/4 lb.)
1/2 bottle CertoRecipe
*To prepare fruit, crush completely or grind about 1 quart fully ripe berries. Each berry must be reduced to pulp. Cut fine or grind 1 medium fully-ripe pineapple or use a No.2 can crushed pineapple.
Combine measured and prepared fruit and sugar in a large kettle. Mix well; bring to a full rolling boil over high heat. Stir constantly before and while boiling. Boil hard for 3 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in Certo.
Stir and skim by turns for 5 minutes. Cool slightly to prevent "floating fruit". Pour quickly into jars. Pour melted paraffin at once on top (or seal with lids.)
