Layered Salad
1 head lettuce
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 can water chestnuts, chopped and drained
1 (10-oz.) package frozen peas, unthawed
1/2 cup Hellman's mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
Romano cheese
Salad Supreme seasoning
Shred lettuce or tear into small pieces; lay in bottom of a dish. Top with onion, celery, peppers, chestnuts and peas. Spread mayonnaise over the top to seal. Sprinkle the sugar on top and Romano cheese generously.
Sprinkle on Salad Supreme seasoning until nice and red. Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator; toss when ready to serve. Enjoy!
