Creamy Swiss and Broccoli Soup
1 cup chopped cooked ham
1 cup water
1 (10-ounce) package frozen broccoli
2 cups milk
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups cubed Swiss cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Boil ham for 10 minutes. Add broccoli; cook until tender. Gradually add milk to flour, stirring until well blended. Add to ham mixture, stirring until slightly thickened. Let simmer for about 20 minutes, add cheese and seasonings, and simmer until cheese starts to melt.
