CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE

3 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
6 large eggs
1 ½ tsps. vanilla
3 cups cake flour
Recipe
Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add salt and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time and beat after each addition. Add flour, dividing into four additions. Pour into 10 inch round tube cake pan. Grease only the bottom of the pan for a smooth even cake.
Bake in a 325 oven for 1 ½ hours or until done.
