    2 1/2 cup flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    3/4 cup margarine
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 cup sour cream
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 egg
    1 (8oz) pkg. softened cream cheese
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup raspberry preserves
    1/2 cup sliced almonds


    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour bottom and sides of a 9 or 10 inch pan. In a large bowl combine flour and 3/4 cup sugar. Cut in margarine, until resembles a crumb mixture. Reserve 1 cup of crumb mixture.

    To remaining crumb mixture add baking powder, soda, salt sour cream, and almond flavoring. Add egg, blend well. Spread batter over bottom and 2 inches up the sides of the pan.

    In a small bowl combine cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar, pour over batter in the pan. Carefully spoon preserves evenly over cream cheese mixture. Combine reserved crumb mixture with sliced almonds. Sprinkle over top. Bake for 45-55 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Remove sides from the pan.
