2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup water
2 cups raw peanuts
dash of salt
1 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Recipe
Combine sugar, corn syrup and water; cook slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cook to soft ball stage (236 degrees).
Add peanuts and salt. Cook to hard crack stage (295 degrees), stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; add butter and baking soda. Pour into a buttered jelly roll pan.
When it is cool, break into pieces.
