BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN

1 chicken, cut up
1 cup buttermilk
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 cup flour
oil for frying
Recipe
Place chicken in large flat dish. Pour buttermilk over chicken and refrigerate 1 hour.
Combine flour, salt and pepper. Put in large plastic bag. Drain chicken. Cover with flour one at a time. Heat oil in skillet and fry on all sides until brown. Transfer to oven and bake 1 hour.
