    List of Ingredients




    3 cups raisins
    2 cups brown sugar
    2 cups butter, softened
    4 eggs
    2 tsps. vanilla extract
    4 cups flour
    2 tsps. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    4 cups rolled oats

    Recipe



    Place raisins and brown sugar in the bowl of a heavy duty electric mixer. With the mixing paddle, beat at high speed for about 2 minutes, or until mixture is pulverized. Add butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat at medium speed about 1 minute.

    In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture. Beat at low speed for 1 minute. Blend in oats.

    Spoon dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a pre-heated 375 degree oven until browned and firm, about 10 to 12 minutes.

    Makes about 100 cookies. Recipe can easily be halved.
